FTP Accounts in Shared Website Hosting
Our shared website hosting packages will permit you to create multiple FTP accounts with just a few mouse clicks from the Hepsia hosting Control Panel and to indicate what website files and folders each one can connect to. There is no upper limit to the total number of FTP accounts that you can create, so you’ll be able to have as many as you wish at any particular moment. In case you do not want to use a given FTP account anymore or if a designer has accomplished their task and you don’t want them to connect to your web content anymore, you can simply remove that account. The Control Panel’s FTP section will allow you to view all currently existing accounts displayed in alphabetical order, along with different options, which you can access with a single click of the mouse. You will be able to update the access path and the password, to download an auto-config file, etc. We also have a detailed Help section, which can help you manage your FTP accounts if you experience any problem.
FTP Accounts in Semi-dedicated Servers
If you host your websites under a semi-dedicated server account, you will be able to set up a different FTP account for any of them, since we have not limited this feature with any of our semi-dedicated server plans. You can accomplish this through the FTP section of our easy-to-use Hepsia hosting Control Panel where you can also check the full list of all the FTP accounts that you have set up, together with the folder that each one of them can connect to. If necessary, you will be able to edit the password for a particular account or to update its access path with a couple of clicks of the mouse. You can also remove an account without efforts in case you do not need it anymore – for example, if you have hired a designer who’s finished with the Internet site and you do not want them to be able to access your files anymore. For your convenience, we have prepared different tutorial video clips, which will help you administer your FTP accounts with no effort if you have never used a website hosting service before.
